Hold the power button on the front of the computer in for 7 - 10 seconds and it will turn off. |

1. Click on START then RUN in the box that appears type in "regsvr32 jscript.dll" (without the quotation marks) click OK then click OK again. 2. Click on START then RUN in the box that appears type in "regsvr32 vbscript.dll" (without the quotation marks) click OK then OK again. The dialog boxes should be back to normal. |

How do I close a program if I can't see the cross in the right hand corner. |
Hold the ALT key down on the keyboard and press F4 from the top of the keyboard once, this will close the program. |

How do I select more than one object in a folder |
If the items are grouped together click and hold the mouse button just to the left of the first ojbect and then drag around the rest of the objects (a box will appear to guide you) once you have gone over all objects let go of the mouse button and they will be highlighted. OR Single click on the first object then hold the SHIFT key down on the keyboard and single click on the last object. This will highlight the objects. If the items are not grouped together then single click on the first object, then hold the CTRL key down on the keyboard and single click on all the other objects required. They will highlight to show they have been selected. If you want all the objects in a folder selected the hold the CTRL key down on the keyboard and press the letter A on the keyboard once, this will select all abjects. OR Click on EDIT from the drop down menu and click on SELECT ALL |

Broadband Modem locks |
Unplug the power cord from the back of the modem, leave out for 15-20 seconds, plug the power cord back into the modem, leave for about 1 minute. Internet connection should be back. |
